EcoForce Globally is the brainchild of Charles and Tracy Alder. Joint founders of the Australian charity Rural Aid, where with a team of dedicated staff built the charity from conception to 100 million in revenue in its first 8 years.
During their tenure at Rural Aid the charity lead drought . flood and bushfire assistance for tens of thousands of Australians. Supported by millions of Australians and most major corporations, the Buy a Bale program for fodder assistance for staving animals, the Farm Army program for volunteer on farm rebuilding assistance and Australia’s first and only on property mental health and well being services were established.
During this time, through an understanding of agricultural practices and climate change education, a symbiotic relationship was conculded between farming practices and CO2 emissions and the possibility of sequestration.
After a period of market research and the establishment of the corporate structure, EcoForce Australia and other international country operations were founded.
If not the most successful fundraising campaign in Australian history, the Buy a Bale fundraising campaign for Rural Aid galvanised Australians into simply buying a bale of hay for farmers and the charity would deliver it.
The same simple message heads EcoForce’s international plans, #BuyATree allows every citizen on the planet EcoForce in partnership with farmers
